Charging
When you purchase your product, the battery pack is not
fully charged. Make sure to charge the battery pack before
use.
The battery pack is a consumable item. A time available with
each charging decreases bit by bit.
Charging with the desktop holder and
specified AC adapter (sold separately)
Charging with the desktop holder and specified AC adapter
(sold separately) is explained.
• Set "Desktop holder charge setting" to "Quick charge"
beforehand ( P.54).
• For specified AC adapter (sold separately), see
"Introduction of related accessories" ( P.55). (Note that
your AC adapter may be different from this illustration.)

Connect the microUSB plug of specified AC
adapter (sold separately) into the power
terminal of the desktop holder
• Make sure the shape of the microUSB plug of specified AC
adapter (sold separately), and insert it straight into the
terminal.

Insert the FJL21 with the battery pack
attached into the desktop holder

Insert the power plug of specified AC adapter
(sold separately) into an outlet (AC 100V)

Make sure the notification LED turns in red
• When charging ends, the LED turns off.

When charging is finished, remove the FJL21
from the desktop holder

◎ Input standards for desktop holder is 5V 1.5A. However you can use
Common AC Adapter 04 (0401PWA) [Output: 5.0V 1.8A].
◎ Do not make a call, receive a call, or communicate with the FJL21
installed in the desktop holder.
◎ When the desktop holder and a PC are connected using microUSB
cable 01 (sold separately), charging time may be longer or charging
may not be available depending on the PC.
◎ Be careful not to lean the FJL21.
◎ When a commercially available cover is attached on the FJL21,
charging with desktop holder may be failed. Remove the cover and
then attach to the desktop holder.
