3-4. Replacing the Main Parts

Be sure to turn off the power switch and disconnect the
power cord from the wall outlet before starting the removal
procedure.
3-4-1. Power Supply

Removal
1. Remove the top plate (A). (Refer to Section 3-2-2.)
2. Loosen the eight screws (with drop-safe) and pull it in
the direction of the arrow by holding the handle.

Installation
Install the new power supply by reversing the steps of
removal while taking care of the direction of the FRONT/
REAR indication.

Some power supplies do not have the FRONT/REAR
indication. In such a case, align the direction of the power
supply connector with the direction of the connector of the
MAV-555A main unit.

Removal
1. Remove the top plate (A) and the rear panel.
(Refer to Section 3-2-2.)
2. Remove the harness from the harness clamp.
3. Remove the four screws. Remove the fan guard, fan
bracket and fan.
4. Disconnect the connectors that are connected to the
CN-2178 board.
