Do not place any naked flames, e.g. burning candles, on

or directly next to the appliance.
In the event of malfunctions – and during thunderstorms –

disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
Set up the appliance on a solid, flat and dry surface so
■
that it cannot tip over.
Place the appliance at a minimum distance of 20 cm from
■
walls or other objects. A minimum distance of 50 cm must
be maintained above the appliance to ensure good air
circulation.
Use the appliance in rooms with a maximum area of
■
15 m² and a maximum height of 2.4 m.

Package contents and transport inspection

Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
carton.
Remove all packaging materials and any films and labels.

Before starting up the appliance, remove this plastic bag from the filter
(see section Changing the filter).
Check the contents of the package. The package contents include the following
components (see fold-out page for illustrations):
► Air purifier
► Filter (in the appliance)
► Operating instructions
NOTE
► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of
defective packaging or during transport, contact the Service hotline
(see section Service).
