Thank you for purchasing a Sealey compressor. Manufactured to a high standard this product will, if used according to these instructions
and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. NOTE THE SAFE OPERATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS, WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS. USE THIS PRODUCT CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE
PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY
AND WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. PLEASE KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS SAFE FOR FUTURE USE.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Familiarise yourself with the application, limitations and potential hazards of the compressor.

WARNING! Disconnect the compressor from the cigarette lighter socket before changing accessories,

servicing or performing any maintenance.
Use only the supplied adaptors.

Maintain the compressor in good condition, DO NOT use if damaged.

Ensure that there are no flammable or combustible materials (including gases) near the compressor when in use.

WARNING! This compressor is capable of high pressure. DO NOT exceed the maximum safe pressure of

the item being inflated.
WARNING! The gauge on the compressor is for guidance only. Where pressure is critical (e.g. tyres) check

with a gauge of known accuracy.
DO NOT leave the compressor operating unattended.

DO NOT operate in wet or damp conditions.

WARNING! To prevent overheating and subsequent damage to the unit, switch off after 10 minutes continuous

operation and allow to cool for 30 minutes before switching back on.
After use store in a safe, dry, childproof area with the connector locking lever in the unlocked position.

2. INTRODUCTION
Sturdy composite casing with a 12Volt motor. Easy-read gauge shows pressures up to 17bar/250psi. Compresses
free air at the rate of 19ft³/hr (9ltr/min). Supplied with 3mtr power cable with in-line rotary power switch and plug for
use in cigarette lighter socket, high pressure hose with clip-on connector and accessory kit including ball needle
and adaptors for inflatables.
3. OPERATION
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the Safety Instructions before using the compressor.

WARNING! Connect only to 12V DC supply capable of providing a current of at least 8 amps.

3.1. Tyre inflation
3.1.1. Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve and push the connector onto the valve as far as it will go.
Lock in place by pressing down the locking lever.
If air loss can be heard remove the connector and then refit.
3.1.2. Plug the cigarette lighter adaptor into the vehicle's lighter socket. Note that it may be necessary to turn on
the ignition to get power to the lighter socket.
3.1.3. Switch on the compressor using the in-line rotary power switch.
3.1.4. When the gauge shows the required pressure (see vehicle handbook) switch off the compressor and
unlock and remove the connector from the tyre valve. Refit the tyre valve dust cap.
3.1.5. At the first opportunity have the tyre pressure checked with a gauge of known accuracy.
3.2. Inflatables
3.2.1. Select the appropriate adaptor from the three provided and secure it in the connector.
3.2.2. Insert the adaptor into the inflatable and proceed as in 3.1. to connect and start the compressor.
Take care not to over-inflate.
