Installation
Handset cord
Connect the long end of the handset cord
to the socket marked with the
(position 11). Insert the cord into the cable
duct (position 15) and attach the short end
to the handset.
Line cord
Connect the line cord to the socket marked
with the
symbol (position 12). Insert the
cord into the cable duct (position 16), from
above or below depending on where your
telephone connection is. Attach the other
end to the telephone jack (RJ11).

Dialing mode switch
Set this switch (position 14) to the desired
dialing mode: PULSE (P) or TONE (T1 for
100 ms flash time, or T2 for 250 ms or 600
ms flash time, depending on the telephone
model). For more details, please see
Setting the dialing mode on page 2.
Key lock
If you have purchased a model with the key
lock feature (position 17), the package will
include two keys for use with the telephone.
When you lock your telephone, you disable
all keys, thus preventing unauthorized use
of the telephone.
Wall-mount installation

The telephone can be mounted on a wall
using the two holes on the underside of the
telephone (position 13). Drill the holes with
a 6 mm drill bit, using the template (
indicates the hole positions) provided on
page 24 of this manual (dowels and screws
are not included). Use a screwdriver to
snap out the handset clip (position 18), as
shown in detail A and insert it into the wall
mounting slot (position 10), as shown in
detail B.
