3.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1.
Prepare Wheel Bearing for Removal (fig.1)
3.1.1. remove the motorcycle wheel, using the method
described in the motorcycle manufacturer's service
instructions, or a proprietary manual.
3.1.2. If fitted, remove the retaining circlip. A range of circlip
pliers suitable for this task are available from your
sealey dealer.
3.1.3. remove the hub bearing seal. It is always advisable to
replace the seal with a new item after it has been
removed.
3.3.
Insert Drift into Collet (fig.3)
3.3.1. locate the tapered end of the corresponding sized drift
into the allocated slot in the collet.
3.3.2. Using a suitable hammer, strike the drift firmly into the
allocated slot in the collet. this will expand the collet,
binding it to the inner race of the wheel bearing.
