Transmit a manual announcement / Trigger an evacuation with a
manual announcement
1. Select one zone or several zones by pressing the correspondingly labeled zone
buttons.
 Selected zone buttons light up.
2. Remove the microphone from the housing.
3. Press the talk button on the microphone, and press and hold the talk button
while talking into the microphone at a normal sound level.
 The microphone is activated.
 Active announcements and background music are deactivated in the
selected zones.
 A manual announcement is made in the selected zones.
4. Release the talk button after the announcement.
 The microphone is deactivated.
5. Press the selected zone buttons again.
 The button lighting goes out.
Play a recorded announcement / Trigger an evacuation with a
recorded announcement
1. Select one zone or several zones by pressing the correspondingly labeled zone
buttons.
 Selected zone buttons light up.
2. Press a button correspondingly labeled with the required announcement.
 Active announcements are deactivated in the selected zones.
 An announcement is made in the selected zones.
 With the corresponding configuration, the announcement is also emitted via
the integrated speaker.
 The announcement is continually repeated.
3. Press the corresponding button labeled with the required announcement again
to end the announcement.
4. Press the selected zone buttons again.
 The button lighting goes out.
Record an announcement
1. Press the correspondingly labeled button.
2. Press the talk button on the microphone, and press and hold the talk button
while talking into the microphone at a normal sound level.
 The announcement is recorded in the device's internal memory.
Delete recorded announcements automatically
Disconnect the call station from the power supply.
 Recorded voice messages are deleted from the device's internal memory.
