This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have been told how to use of the
appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Chil-
dren must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist
companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incom-
petent repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In
addition, warranty claims become void.
Defective components may only be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts
can it be assured that the safety requirements are being com-
plied with.
Protect the appliance against moisture and liquid penetration.
Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power
socket with the plug, never pull on the cable.
Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of open fl ames.
The appliance must not be placed immediately under or over
a mains power socket.
In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms dis-
connect the plug from the mains power socket.
The appliance must not be used in the immediate vicinity of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
The appliance is to be installed so that a person in the bath
or shower is unable to touch the switch and other controls.
Do not subject the appliance to spray and/or dripping water
and do not place any objects fi lled with liquid, such as vases
or open drink containers, on or near the appliance.
