CAUTION
1. This unit is not waterproof.
• Do not use it in damp or
wet locations.
• Do not wash it in water.
• Keep it in a safe, dry, and
clean area when it is not in
use.
2. This unit automatically goes
off when the battery voltage
drops below a specifi ed
level.
3. Do not disassemble this
unit.
Servicing should be
performed by an authorized
service center.
4. The light source contained
in this luminaire shall
only be replaced by the
manufacturer or his agent
or a similar qualifi ed person.
5. Do not throw the battery
pack into a fi re.
This can cause an
explosion.
6. Do not look into the LED
light and do not allow the
lights to contact the eyes
directly.
If the LED lights contact the
eye continuously, it may
result in injuries to the eyes.
WARNING
• Do not use this unit to do
work that may expose the
battery pack to chips and/
or dust.
• Do not use this unit in
places with corrosive
gases.
• Do not use other than the
Panasonic battery packs
that are designed for use
with this rechargeable
tool.
• Do not carry or store the
battery pack in the same
container as nails or
similar metal objects.
• Do not dispose of the
battery pack in a fi re, or
expose it to excessive
heat.
• Do not drive the likes
of nails into the battery
pack, subject it to shocks,
dismantle it, or attempt to
modify it.
• Do not allow metal objects
to touch the battery pack
terminals.
• Do not charge the
battery pack in a high-
temperature location,
such as next to a fi re or in
direct sunlight. Otherwise,
the battery may overheat,
catch fi re, or explode.
• Never use other than
the dedicated charger to
charge the battery pack.
Otherwise, the battery
may leak, overheat, or
explode.
• After removing the battery
pack from the tool or the
charger, always reattach
the pack cover.
Otherwise, the battery
contacts could be shorted,
leading to a risk of fi re.
• When the Battery pack
Has Deteriorated,
Replace It with a New
One.
Continued use of a
damaged battery pack
may result in heat
generation, ignition or
battery rupture.
IV. ASSEMBLY
Attaching or Removing
Battery pack
1. Attaching: [Fig.1]
Align the highlighted marker
points and attach battery
pack.
• Slide the battery pack until
it locks into position.
2. Removing: [Fig.2]
Push the button and slide
the battery pack forward.
CAUTION
Do not use the 28.8V battery
pack.
It cannot be attached properly
and may fall out.
V. OPERATION
Example of use [Fig.3]
1. Attach the battery pack to
the main unit.
2. Adjustment the handle and
LED light angle.: [Fig.4]
CAUTION
Do not open and close or
rotate this unit for more than
its range of motion.
• Open and close: 0º to 90º
(in steps of 15º on each
side)
• Rotation: 0º to 270º
3. Press the switch once to
turn on LED light.
Each times press the
switch, the power turns from
high to mid, from mid to low,
from low to off.

Low mode
NOTE:
To turn off the LED light
immediately, hold down the
switch for a while.
