Disc indicator
Indicates the type of the disc set in the selected tray.
When setting a DVD VIDEO, Video CD or Audio CD disc is
set, “DVD” , “VCD” or “CD” illuminates, respectively.

Title/chapter/track indicators
Displays title/chapter, or track number.

Repeat mode indicators
The appropriate indicator illuminates according to the
current repeat mode.

DIGITAL OUT jack (OPTICAL/COAXIAL) (15)
Outputs digital audio signals. You must select the signal
type correctly according to the external device connected
to via the Preference display.

VIDEO OUT - AV connector (14)
The standard 21-pin SCART connector outputs video and
audio signals. You can select the video signal type by the
COMP-Y/C selector, as well as the S-VIDEO/RGB setting
(see "To connect to a TV with the SCART connector" on
pages 14 for details).

S-VIDEO jack (13)
Outputs S-video signals.
Not that this jack does not feed correct signals when you
make the unit feed the RGB signals. See "To connect to a
TV with the SCART connector" on pages 14 for details.

Connects to the wall outlet using the suppplied AC power
cord.
