WARNING
The electrical cord can become damaged, causing
a shock or fire.
Thoroughly inspect the electrical cord before using
the machine. If the cord is damaged, do not operate
the machine. Replace or repair the damaged cord
immediately. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer
for assistance.
CAUTION
If you leave the machine plugged into a power
source, someone can inadvertently start the
machine and injure people or damage property.
Unplug the power cord whenever you are not
starting the machine.

Engaging the Auger

Disengaging the Auger

To disengage the auger, release the auger lever.

Self-propelling the Machine

To operate the self-propel drive, simply walk with your hands
on the upper handle and your elbows at your sides, and the
machine will automatically keep pace with you
Note: You can self-propel the machine with the auger
engaged or disengaged.

Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, remove the key from the ignition or move
the key to the middle position.

Operating the Quick Stick

Note: The blue knob must be fully pressed to release the
latch and operate the Quick Stick
