1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 82.
3. Locate the Wi-Fi card. See "Computer components" on page 31.
4. Disconnect the Wi-Fi antenna cables from the Wi-Fi card, and then remove the screw that secures the
Wi-Fi card.

5. Pull the Wi-Fi card out of the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot.

6. Insert the new Wi-Fi card into the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot. Ensure that the Wi-Fi card is inserted firmly. Then,
pivot the Wi-Fi card as shown so that the screw notch on the Wi-Fi card aligns with the mounting stud
on the system board.
Note: Do not touch the notched edge of the Wi-Fi card.
