Problem
The appliance is not

Cause
The plug is not inserted
into a mains power
socket.
The mains power socket
is defective.
The appliance is
defective.
The appliance is not
sufficiently heated up.
The set temperature is
too low.
You have treated the
same hair with the hot
appliance too often or
stopped for too long in
one position.
The set temperature is
too high.
Solution
Plug in the appliance.
Try a different wall socket.
Contact the Customer
Service department.
Wait until the appliance
has heated up.
Set a higher temperature
and wait until the appli-
ance has heated up.
Do not treat a single
strand of hair repeatedly,
especially at high temper-
atures.
Select a lower temperature.
