    1 Installing the UIM Card and the Battery When installing the UIM card, ensure that the gold contact area on the UIM card is facing downward and that the beveled edge of the UIM card is properly aligned with that of the UIM card slot.

    2 Charging the Battery 1. Connect the charger to the charger connector of the phone. 2. Connect the charger to a power socket. Charging starts and the charging icon is displayed in animation. 3. When the charging icon animation stops, indicating that the charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the phone.

    4 Keys and Functions Press... To... End key Power on or off the phone (press and hold the key). End or reject a call. Call key Dial a number or answer a call. Left soft Access the main menu in standby mode. Select the option displayed in the lower left corner of the screen (directly above the key).
