OPERATION

STARTING THE ENGINE

NOTICE
I Check the oil level before each operations. (See page 10)
I Perform the specified daily inspection to see if it is in normal condition.
(1) Make sure that the economy switch
and AC switch (no-fuse breaker) are
off.
(2) Turn the fuel cock lever to the vertical
(open) position.
(3) Turn the starter switch to the
position.
Take your hand off the switch immedi-

ately after the engine starts.
I If the engine fails to start, release the
switch, wait a few seconds, then try
again. Each attempt should be as
short as possible to preserve the bat-
tery. Do not crank the engine more
than 10 seconds on any one attempt.
TIP
A fail-safe function equipped on this gen-
erator prevents the starter from cranking
the engine within 0.5 second after the
engine has been stopped.
