DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, AND WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3 Disconnect the grinder from the air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
3 Maintain the grinder in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
3 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
3 Keep the grinder clean for best and safest performance and check moving parts alignment regularly.
p WARNING! ensure the correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded.
3 Before each use check all abrasive attachments for condition. If worn or damaged replace immediately.
3 Ensure there are no flammable or combustible materials near the work area.
3 Wear approved safety eye protection, ear defenders, and if dust is generated respiratory protection.
3 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery, and contain long hair.
3 Locate the grinder in an adequate working area for its function, keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials, and ensure
there is adequate lighting.
3 Keep hoses away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check hoses for wear before each use. Make certain that all connections are secure.
3 Maintain correct balance and footing, do not over reach. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non skid shoes.
3 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
3 Secure non stable work piece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.
3 Avoid unintentional starting.
7 DO NOT place attachments close to your face and do not point at other persons or animals.
7 DO NOT force the grinder to achieve a task it was not designed to perform.
7 DO NOT operate the grinder when you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
7 DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the grinder
7 DO NOT direct air from from the air hose at yourself or others..
7 DO NOT use the grinder where there are flammable liquids, solids or gases such as paint solvents, etc.
7 DO NOT use quick change couplings attached to the tool.
7 DO NOT hold unsecured work in your hand.
7 DO NOT leave the grinder operating whilst unattended.
7 DO NOT carry the by the hose, or yank the hose from the air supply.
3 When not in use switch the grinder off, disconnect from the air supply, and store in a safe, dry, child proof area.

One-handed straight-type die grinder with aluminium body and trigger with safety catch. Chuck accepts grinding points with a 6mm shank and
is suitable for automotive and industrial applications.

3. AIR SUPPLY
3.1.
Ensure the throttle is in the "off" position before connecting to the air supply.
3.2.
p WARNING! Ensure the air supply does not exceed 90 PSI while running the tool. Too high an air pressure and unclean air will
shorten the grinders life due to excessive wear, and may be dangerous causing possible damage and personal injury.
3.3.
Drain the air tank daily. Water in the air line will damage the tool.
3.4.
Clean the air inlet filter screen weekly. The recommended hook-up procedure can be viewed in fig 1.
3.5.
Line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses (over 8 metres). The minimum hose diameter should
be 1/4" I.D. and fittings must have the same inside dimensions.
3.6.
Use correct hoses and fittings.
DO NOT use quick change couplings as they
add weight and can cause failure due to vibration.
Add a leader hose and connect coupling between
air supply and hose whip.
3.7.
Keep hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Check hoses for wear, and make certain that
all connections are secure.

  • Page 2 Lubrication. Lubricate the air tool daily with a good grade of air tool oil such as Sealey ATO/500 or ATO/1000. If air tool oil is unavailable, a rust inhibitive oil available from auto supply stores is acceptable for air tools. Pour a teaspoon of oil into the tool's air inlet or into the hose at the nearest connection to the air supply then run the grinder for a short time.
