1. saFeTY insTrUcTions
 Follow all workshop Health & Safety rules, regulations and conditions when using this tool.
 Warning! Disconnect the grinder from the air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
 Maintain the grinder in good condition and replace or repair any damaged or worn parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may
be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
 Warning! Ensure the correct air pressure (90psi) is maintained and not exceeded.
 Keep hoses away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check hoses for wear before each use. Make certain that all connections are secure.
 Warning! Before each use check abrasive attachment is secure and that it is not worn or damaged. If damaged, replace immediately.
 Ensure replacement grinding bits are not damaged (cracks, deformations or splinters etc.).
 Always use the correct grinding bit for the material being ground. Ensure the maximum speed of the bit is equal to or higher than the
maximum of the die grinder.
 Ensure there are no flammable or combustible materials near the work area.
 Always wear approved safety eye protection, ear defenders, safety gloves and if dust or fumes are generated, appropriate respiratory
protection in accordance with COSHH regulations must be used.
 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery and contain long hair.
 Locate the grinder in an adequate working area for its function, keep area clean, tidy, free from unrelated materials and ensure there is
adequate lighting.
 Maintain correct balance and footing, do not over reach. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non slip shoes.
 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
 Secure non stable workpiece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device and do noT hold unsecured work in your hand.
 Avoid subjecting the grinding bit to excessive strain, always ease the grinding bit onto the workpiece.
 do noT place attachments close to your face and do not point at other persons or animals.
 do noT force the grinder to achieve a task it was not designed to perform.
 do noT operate the grinder when you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
 do noT allow untrained persons to operate the grinder
 do noT direct air from from the air hose at yourself or others..
 do noT use the grinder where there are flammable liquids, solids or gases such as paint solvents, etc.
 do noT start the grinder with the grinding bit in contact with the workpiece.
 do noT leave the die grinder connected to the air supply whilst unattended.
 do noT carry the by the hose, or yank the hose from the air supply.
 do noT touch the workpiece close to the ground surface as it will be very hot, allow to cool and take care as sharp edges may be present.
 When not in use switch the grinder off, disconnect from the air supply, and store in a safe, dry, child proof area.

The SA672.V2 Long Reach Air Die Grinder, when operated in accordance with these instructions and tested in accordance with EN 28662-1:
1993 results in the following vibration emission declared in accordance with BS EN12096: 1996.

This tool may cause hand-arm vibration syndrome if its use is inadequately managed.
recommended Measures to reduce risk of hand-arm vibration syndrome:
This tool should not be used by an individual regularly for more than 244 minutes in any 8 hour period.
This duration of use should be reduced if the individual is exposed to hand-arm vibration from other sources.
