B. IMPORTANTNOTE
1.Once the "Market information" is written into EEPROM (IC812) on the main board,"Market information" can not be modified.
(However, updating the system software using CD-R enables you to make new settings.)
2.You can exit from "Market information setup" by pushing POWER button or OPEN/CLOSE button. All the changes on the
Internal Setup screen are abandoned. "Market information setup" should be proceeding once again.

HOW TO LOAD SOFTWARE FOR SYSTEM Microcomputer

1. Power on and select DVD/CD function.
2.Open the tray.
3.Locate the system software update CD on the tray, and then close the tray.
4.About 50 seconds later from the tray closed, "Start to update MPEG flash memory. PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG THE
POWER CODE. " will be displayed on the TV screen.
"UPDATING" will be displayed on the VFD.
5. When software loading complete, the player becomes STANDBY mode automatically.
6. Setup the "Market information" by following the instruction above.

D. HOW TO LOAD SOFTWARE FOR Audio DSP
1. Power on and select DVD/CD function.
2.Open the tray.
3. Locate the system software update CD on the tray, and then close the tray.
4. About 50 seconds later from the tray closed, "Start to update DSP flash memory. PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG THE POWER
CODE." will be displayed on the TV screen. "DSPENTRY" and then "DSP B **" will be displayed on the VFD. "**" shows the
software loading steps, decreasing by 1 from 20 to 0.
5. When software loading complete, the player becomes STANDBY mode automatically.
6. No need to setup the "Market information".

CAUTION
After replacing the Main P.w.Board ASSY (Parts code : 614 330 6658) should update both SYSTEM microcomputer software
and AUDIO DSP software using latest update CD-R respectively.
After replacing IC ASSY (Parts code : 410 521 4201) should update SYSTEM microcomputer software using latest CD-R for
SYSTEM microcomputer.
After replacing IC ASSY (Parts code : 410 495 7307) should update AUDIO DSP software using latest CD-R for AUDIO DSP.
Whenever replacing MAIN P.W.Board ASSY, IC ASSY or update the software should verify the basic operation of the player.
