INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
PAD Mounting
A Split Rooftop Unit can be installed on a pad provided and installed by others.
Provide a level concrete slab that extends a minimum of 6 inches (150 mm) beyond unit cabinet.

• Ensure that the pad is designed to handle the weight of the unit. If the pad doesn't have sufficient strength, the unit will fall and cause phys-
ical injury or death.
• Ensure that the chosen location has enough strength to support the weight of the unit(s). If it does not have sufficient strength, the unit(s)
will fall and cause physical injury or death.
• Install the Split Rooftop Unit to protect against extremely high winds and earthquakes. Any deficiency in installation will cause unit to fall,
resulting in physical injury or death.
