Troubleshooting

Check the following before asking for service.
Symptom
The air purifier
does not operate.
The air purifier operates
even though the air is clean.
The air quality monitor
remains red.
During automatic operation
(AIC auto, allergen mode),
the air purifier does not
operate even though the
air is dirty.
The air quality monitor
remains blue.
Odors are not removed
properly.
The air is not cleaned
properly.
The air filter operates
noisily.
If the problem still persists ...
Disconnect the power plug and contact an authorized dealer or the store where the unit
was purchased.

Check / Remedy
Have the pre-filter or filter cover been removed?
Are they installed securely?
 Securely install the pre-filter and / or filter cover.
Has the power plug been removed from the wall socket?
Is the filter check indicator on?
 Soak or replace the composite air filters, and press
 the composite air filter reset switch.
The odor sensor can be affected by steam, smoke,
sprays, and gasses from combustible containers.
Is the sensor switch set to "Hi"?
 Set it to "Lo".
Is the air purifier placed in a location where it is difficult
to filter house dust and other air pollutants?
 Move the air purifier to a different location.
 Or, set the operation mode to "Super".
Are you using the air purifier in a room that is too large for it?
Is the sensor switch set to "Lo"?
 Set it to "Hi".
Is the main unit, pre-filter, or filter unit (front) dirty?
Clean the main unit, pre-filter, and or filter unit (front).
If the problem persists, replace the deodorizing filter
with a new one.
(Toxic substances from cigarette
(carbon monoxide, etc.) cannot be reomoved.)
Is the pre-filter or filter unit (front) dirty?
 Clean the pre-filter and / or filter unit (front).
