SMART DIAGNOSIS™

This content only applies to models with
product.
Use this function if you need an accurate diagnosis
by an LG Electronics Customer Information Center when
the product malfunctions or fails.
Smart Diagnosis™ cannot be activated unless the
appliance is turned on by pressing the Power button. If
the appliance is unable to turn on, then troubleshooting
must be done without using Smart Diagnosis™.
Using Smart Diagnosis™
Smart Diagnosis™ Using the Smart Phone

Turn on the power and hold the phone close to the
logo of Smart Diagnosis™.
• Make sure that the mouthpiece of the phone
faces the logo of Smart Diagnosis™.

Press the AMBIENT and CONT. buttons for 3
seconds to operate the Smart Diagnosis™ function.

Do not remove the phone from the product while
data is being transmitted.

After data transmission is finished, receive the
explanation on the diagnosis result from the
customer service representative.
• All buttons on the control panel will turn on
while data is being transmitted. When data
transmission is finished, the buttons will return to
their initial condition. Receive the explanation on
the diagnosis result from the customer service
representative and take appropriate measures.

• The Smart Diagnosis™ function depends on the local
logo on the
call quality.
• The communication performance will improve, and will
receive better service if you use a home phone.
• Smart Diagnosis™ function is used only when
contacting a customer service representative.
