1. Maintenance 1-1. Necessity for maintenance A backlight power supply is used in this LCD monitor. This part (which is a consumable) will deteriorate over time and lead to a reduced level of performance and failure. For this reason, it involves periodic maintenance and servicing aimed at keeping up the performance that the monitor is designed to provide and preventing sudden failures caused by consumable part.

6. GAMMA Data Backup (/Restore) Method This unit memorizes gamma correction data in EEPROM (IC6203) on the MAIN circuit board. Therefore, when exchanging the MAIN circuit board or EEPROM (IC6203), backup the gamma correction data at the personal computer in advance and restore it data exchanged EEPROM. 6-1.
