• The device must always be disconnected from the mains when
left unsupervised and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
• When disconnecting the power cable from the mains socket,
always pull on the mains plug and never on the power cable
(2) itself.
• Never use the device in the vicinity of the bathtub / shower or
over a sink filled with water. Proximity to water poses a risk
even if the device is switched off.
• If you notice visible damage to the hotplate or the power cable
(2), switch the hotplate off immediately, disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket and contact our hotline.
• Only connect the hotplate to a properly installed, easily
accessible wall outlet whose mains voltage corresponds to that
on the rating plate. No action is required by the user to set the
product to 50 or 60 Hz. The product automatically adjusts to
50 and to 60 Hz. After connecting the device, the mains socket
must still be easily accessible so that you can remove the mains
plug quickly in the event of an emergency.
DANGER of fire
• Never leave the device unattended when in use.
• Maintain a clearance of at least 50 cm around the hotplate to
flammable and combustible materials. There is a risk of fire.
• Disconnect the hotplate from the mains power if you do not
intend to use it for an extended period. The hotplate is live
unless you disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
