    Defrosting During the heating process, the air conditioner can automatically defrost ice accumulated on the outdoor unit heat exchanger. This process takes a few minutes. When the defrosting mode is activated, the outdoor unit and indoor unit cease operation.

  • Page 7 Dismounting and reinstalling the air conditioner must be carried out by authorized after-sales agents. Improper installation may result in fire, electric hazards and water leaks.
  • Page 8 Never clean the air conditioner with water to prevent electric hazards. Never place or use inflammable spray on or close to the air conditioner to prevent fire. Avoid contact with the switch of the air conditioner when hands are wet to prevent electric shocks.

    Maintenance Unplug the appliance Remove the air intake screen Hold the air intake screen with one hand, and push the screen inward with the other hand to release four tabs from the slots to remove the screen. Remove the filter Rotate the fixing clip 90∞.

    Seasonal cessation Post maintenance Turn the air conditioner on during a sunny day and leave it running for about 6 hours. Turn the air conditioner off and disconnect it from the power source. Clean the filter, the indoor unit and outdoor unit before applying covers.

Water gurgling sound Pop sound Strange odor Mists from indoor unit Automatic airflow mode set during cooling process Immediate restarting not recommended A slight sound similar to water gurgling can be produced when the appliance is turned on and off, or the compressor started or ceased during operation period of the appliance.
