Defrosting During the heating process, the air conditioner can automatically defrost ice accumulated on the outdoor unit heat exchanger. This process takes a few minutes. When the defrosting mode is activated, the outdoor unit and indoor unit cease operation. -

Improper installation may result in fire, electric hazards and water leaks.
- Page 8 Never clean the air conditioner with water to prevent electric hazards. Never place or use inflammable spray on or close to the air conditioner to prevent fire. Avoid contact with the switch of the air conditioner when hands are wet to prevent electric shocks.

Maintenance Unplug the appliance Remove the air intake screen Hold the air intake screen with one hand, and push the screen inward with the other hand to release four tabs from the slots to remove the screen. Remove the filter Rotate the fixing clip 90∞. -

Seasonal cessation Post maintenance Turn the air conditioner on during a sunny day and leave it running for about 6 hours. Turn the air conditioner off and disconnect it from the power source. Clean the filter, the indoor unit and outdoor unit before applying covers. -

Following instructions should be strictly followed for appliance operation. l Installation must be carried out in accordance with the requirements listed hereunder. l When the air conditioner is moved, special care should be taken to avoid dents or scratches on the case surfaces. - Page 15 Wiring cables will be properly arranged and connected, ensuring there in no entrapment from the cabinet case or exterior sheet. Installation of indoor unit I. Location 1. Between the ceiling and the upstairs floor. 2. Favorable for water drainage pipes 3. Less than 2.7 meters above the floor for air outlet opening 4. Open for air circulation 5. Away from the area where heavy oily dusts, moisture or steam is likely to accumulate, such as kitchens and workshops 6. - Page 20 Installation of indoor unit Installation of hanger rod Foundation or countersunk bolts are used on the roof to hold the indoor unit if ceilings are completed. Adjust the space between the indoor unit and ceilings. III.
