Confirm the paper curl is in the range of specified value.
The specified values are as follows:
- Height of curl: –0.12" to +0.12" (–3 to +3 mm)
- Length of curl: More than 0.59" (15 mm)
NOTE
If downward curl is measured, it may cause incorrect value since the curl is
negated. Be sure to measure upward curl.

If the curl state of paper exceeds specified value, adjust the
curl correction to make it in an appropriate range from the
printer display. For information on adjusting the curl
correction, refer to the manual for the printer.
NOTE
If the curl can not be corrected within the specified range by following the
adjustment above, or paper jams, errors or defect in bindings occur frequently, load
other paper type into the paper source.
For a tidier binding, we recommend that printed sheets have a curl of less than
±0.12" (±3 mm).
Length of Curl:
More than 0.59" (15 mm)

Less than + 0.12" (+ 3 mm)
Height of Curl:
Less than - 0.12" (- 3 mm)
