Service Instructions on how to change the e2e 2.0 wireless system address
The information send by the hearing instrument is address coded. The standard address for all remote controls and
hearing instruments systems is "0 ". In case there are different users in a close neighbourhood cross communica-
tion can occur. To avoid this the complete system needs to be set to a new address. If you wear two hearing inst-
ruments and use a remote control all devices have to be send for service.
Before changing the address the wireless functionality of the system should be validated by a wireless test.
Necessary measuring equipment:
PC, Noahlink, Connexx/HICOSS (Service software V 7.0 or higher), SIFIT (Service Software V 7.0 or higher)
1. Change the wireless address of a hearing instrument:
a) Activate Connexx and connect the hearing instrument
b) Detect instrument
c) Read out instrument
d) Choose folder " Fitting"
e) Press the button "Configuration" --
f) Choose another Wireless Address
2. Change the wireless address of the Remote Control (TEK/miniTEK):
The wireless address of a remote control adapts automatically if it is connected.
3. Change the wireless address of the Remote Control (ProPocket):
The service is not able to change the address.
A ProPocket with an alternative wireless address (Order number: 10 417 823) needs to be ordered from the
manufacturer.
