PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

ADJUSTING THE SKIDS

WARNING
Position the Snowblower on a level sur-
face.

2. Auger end
3. Road surface
4. Clearance
Adjust the clearance between the auger
end and the road surface correctly accord-
ing to the road conditions.
Factory set (Standard
clearance)
Concrete and asphalt
roads
Pebble and gravel
roads
1. Stop the engine and remove the engine
switch key.
2. Lift the auger housing, using the auger
housing height control lever.

3. Loosen the nuts of the skid.

4. Adjust the skid height by moving the
skid vertically.
NOTICE
If the clearance between the road sur-
face and the auger end is too small,
auger wear may increase and the road
surface could be damaged.
TIP
Adjust the left and right skids so they are
both the same height.
