5. Remove the left side cover by removing
the bolts.

6. Remove the bolts, and remove the fuel
cock bracket from the chassis.

7. Place a suitable container below the
fuel cock to collect the drained gaso-
line. Remove the ring nut of the fuel
cock, and then remove the fuel strainer
cup.

TIP
If the ring nut is too tight, loosen it using a
wrench or other tool.
8. Turn the fuel cock lever from the
"STOP" position to the "RUN" position,
and drain the remaining gasoline out of
the fuel tank.
