Port 22X1 is designed as follows on the component side:

Pin 1, 6, 7, 8 must be isolated, since they are connected internally.
▶ In any case, use two input channels because using only one input channel
would reduce the safety integrity level.
Table 7: STO function: Diagnosis and state display
Description
STO function is activated correctly in stop mode; once the input
channels have been re-energized, the device goes to normal
state.

STO function is activated incorrectly, this happens if one channel
is energized but the other is de-energized.
Hardware damage of the channel may also cause "StO-E" error.
The parameter [H0.03] is used to monitor the status of the STO function.
