System Care and Preventive Maintenance 1.1.2 Siemens Authorized Care Delivery personnel, service personnel, and operators must observe any statutory regula- tions that govern the delivery, inspection, and maintenance of this equipment. To ensure the safety of patients, operators, and third parties, the equipment must be inspected every 12 months, and the replacement of parts performed as necessary.

1.2.5 Peripheral Device Check Always check Siemens-approved peripheral devices (OEMs), even if the customer has not signed a maintenance contract for them. The check includes cleaning and optimization of settings if necessary. Replacement depends upon the type of maintenance contract.
