6 Transport and storage

Check the BODAS display for damage during transport. If there are obvious signs
of damage, please inform the transport company and Bosch Rexroth immediately.
▶ If it is dropped, the BODAS display may not be used any longer as invisible
damage can have a negative impact on reliability or function.
▶ Impacts with hard objects on the housing or integrated inspection window
could cause the case or glass to break. In such cases, the BODAS display
must be replaced without delay.
▶ A sudden large increase in air pressure may lead to disc implosion or to subsequent
leaks. Suddenly large reductions in air pressure may cause an explosion.
Take appropriate measures in these cases, for example, when transporting the
device by air.

6.1 Storing the BODAS display
