Note:
● When using the appliance for the first time or when it has not been used for a period of
time, remove the packaging material first and then clean and dry the ceramic pot and glass
lid. (P. EN8 "How to Clean")
● Be careful when removing the ceramic pot from the body. Ensure the ceramic pot is
completely taken out before moving away.
● Authentic porcelain is fired under extreme heat. Therefore each ceramic pot is individual
and differs slightly from every other pot. This unique characteristic may result in a minor
rocking of the glass lid which should not be of concern.
● Low heat cooking does not allow steam to escape, hence there will be no significant loss
of juice, flavour or nutrition.
● After using the ceramic pot for sometime, "hairline mark" may appear on the inner and
outer surfaces of the pot. This type of mark is only at the surface and it is normal.
● For a long life-span of the appliance, please follow the maximum cooking time.
Recommended maximum cooking time for "Low" and "Auto" lever is 12 hours and for
"High" lever is 8 hours. Please wait for the appliance to completely cool down before
starting the next cooking.
● Cooking time may vary depending on one's own recipe and ingredients.
1
Place the ceramic pot into the body. Place the
cooking ingredients into the ceramic pot and pour
appropriate amount of water (not more than 80% of
pot capacity), and then cover the glass lid.
2
Plug in. Turn the switch knob to the suitable lever to
start cooking.
● Before plug in, make sure that the switch knob is in "Off" lever.
● The cooking time is about 2-5 hours when adding room
temperature water. It is recommended to add warm water
around 70 ℃ to save cooking time.
● Turn the switch knob to "High" lever first. After boiling, adjust
the lever according to food's nature and cooking time. ( See
"Lever Selection" in the "Control Panel" section in P. EN6)
● Do not open the glass lid during cooking.
3
After cooking completed, turn the switch knob to the
"Off" lever, the power indicator will go out.
● Maker sure to wear oven gloves when opening the glass lid. (Do
not wear wet oven gloves.)
● Do not take out the ceramic pot with bare hands to avoid burns.
