The CD Encoder DA-7000A i s designed for converting CD-ROM data or music recorded
on DIGITAL AUDIO Tapes (DAT) f o r p r o f e s s i o n a l use or U-matic VCR i n t o EFM
signals based on the COMPACT DISC (CD) standards.
By combining with the C D - W O Writer DD-7200A a C D - W O system can be constructed.
(1) The u n i t conforms to the RED BOOK, YELLOW BOOK and ORANGE BOOK PART I I
(November 1990), and a l l o w s c o n s t r u c t ion of a CD-WO s y s t e m through
combination with a C D - W O Writer DD-7200A.
(2) The control functions necessary for the encoder, including generation of the
subcode, are a l l c o n t r o l led through the GP-IB.

(3) Through
a p p l i c a t ion of L S I i n t h e CD E n c o d e r , c i r c u i t r y
s i m p l i f i e d and r e l i a b i l i t y increased.
(4) Connecting U-matic VCR, p r o f e s s i o n a l DAT equipment, e t c . , i s easy owing
to the 3 data input interface systems: SDIF, AES/EBU D i g i t a l Audio Interface
and p a r a l l e i input.
