„ When mounting to a reinforced wall with wood screws
„
1) Drill mounting holes in reference to "Mounting hole dimensions" ( page 10).
z When mounting to the wall, set the pole of the projector at the upper end.
z There are two installation methods for choice.
A: This method uses 4 wood screws (3.1 mm (1/8")) to fix the attachment plate.
B: This method uses 4 wood screws (4.1 mm (5/32")) to fix the attachment plate.
Depending on the reinforcement type, use method A (4 holes) or B (4 holes) accordingly.
z Add marks to the wood screw installation positions (4 holes) on the wall.
2) Mounting the attachment plate to the wall.
z According to the selected method as described above, use commercially available wood screws with a
nominal diameter of 4.1 mm (5/32") or 3.1 mm (1/8") to secure the attachment plate.
z If the wall for mounting product is not strong enough, the product may fall and subject to damages, etc. Do
give consideration to the safety factor and provide sufficient reinforcement.
z For the wall with reinforcement, ensure there is thread engagement of at least 20 mm (25/32") in the wall
reinforcement member.
3) Install the falling prevention wire to the wall.
z The falling prevention wire is secured to the attachment plate with tape.
z Rip off the tape and use a commercially available wood screw with a nominal diameter of 4.1 mm (5/32")
to secure the free end of the falling prevention wire to the wall through the larger circular hole on the
attachment plate.
Attention
z When installing the attachment plate to the wall with wood screws, make sure the falling prevention wire is
installed to the wall.
