1 Introduction: Demo Mode

The High- Definit ion Digit al Video Recorder ( HD DVR) m odels DHG- HDD250 and DHG-
HDD500 feat ure at t ract ive high- definit ion video cont ent t hat is pre- recorded and is
available t o be played back as soon as t he HD DVR is connect ed t o a TV. You can enj oy
a short clip of high- definit ion video even if high- definit ion cable TV or ant enna
broadcast signals are not im m ediat ely available.
The HD DVRs also have a " Dem o Mode" feat ure t hat can be act ivat ed by following t he
st eps out lined in t his docum ent . Act ivat ing t he Dem o Feat ure will:

Lim it t h e nu m be r of w a ys in w h ich a pr ogr a m ca n be e a sily de le t e d
This feat ure m ay be useful in ret ail or ot her environm ent s where t here is an int erest in
cont inuously displaying a single recording.

end of a recorded program . However t his
m enu is st ill available by pressing t he
but t on on t he rem ot e cont rol or front panel.
