3.4 Device/module identification

Information on handling cable glands
Cable glands on the field control unit are secured in the factory against the ingress of undesired
particles by means of three inserts of different sizes. Observe the following specifications:
• Keep the inserts even after you have connected the device
• If you no longer need a connection, block the cable bushing again with the appropriate insert.

The rating plate with the order number and other important information is located on the left
side of the Ex-d enclosure of the field control unit.
