Description
Fuel hose
Small plastic cable tie
Large plastic cable tie
800 cc carbon canister
Inline vent filter
Hose clamp
Bracket
Clamp
Hex head bolt (1/4 x 5/8 inch)
Hex flange nut
1. Remove the fasteners that hold the right-hand
console in place, and remove the console (Figure 1).

2. Remove and discard the carbon canister with the
in-line vent filter and the short connecting hose.
3. Install a new carbon canister from loose parts.
4. Connect the hoses to the fittings on top of the
canister, and secure them using the existing hose
clamps.
5. Secure one end of the new fuel hose (from the loose
parts bag) to the bottom of the carbon canister with
a new hose clamp (Figure 2).

Install the kit.

2. Hose clamp
6. Secure the fuel hose to the canister with the large
plastic tie as shown in Figure 2.
Note: Ensure that the hose does not kink or
collapse when you install the large plastic tie.
7. Route the fuel hose by following the wire harness,
and secure the hose to the wire harness with small
cable ties (Figure 3).

  • Page 2 12. Slip on a hose clamp on the open end of the fuel hose and insert the new inline vent filter. 13. Secure the vent filter to the hose with a hose clamp (Figure 5). Note: Ensure that the open end of the vent filter is horizontal or lower.
