To open the PCI retention latch, see Chapter 2 (1.11.3 Installation).
5.
Remove the blank cover aligned with the slot where
you install a card.
6.
Make sure that you are properly inserting the bracket edge into the frame guide, and attach it securely.
7.
Arrange the cable so as not to buffer other PCI cards, and connect to the COM connector used for
internal connections in the motherboard.
See the following for the position of the COM connector for internal connections.
8.
Reassemble the server.
Important
Keep the removed blank cover for future use.

Note the direction of the connector when connecting the cable.
