Installing the Auxiliary Handle

Parts needed for this procedure:

1. Separate the auxiliary handle from the lower handle bracket by unscrewing the handle-lock knob and
removing the socket head bolt (A of

The bolt may be wedged into the plastic of the handle; lightly tap the bottom of the
bolt until it is free from the handle.
2. Align the auxiliary handle with the lower handle bracket on the trimmer handle (B of
