Message Alerts Settings
Selecting the "Prompts" tab, the options you can select for the coming message
alerts are sound alert and display alert.
Option
Display alerts when
a message is

Play a sound when a
message is received
Note:
The sound alert files can be in *.wav or *.mid form;
If you click <Default>, all the items on the "Prompts" tab recover to
the default values, that is, being checked.
Standby/Hibernate Settings
Enter the "Standby/Hibernate" tab, and then you have the following options:

Prevent Standby or
Hibernate and
maintain connection
Allow Standby or
Hibernate and close
connection
Check the box, and an alert window is displayed when
a new message comes. You can:
Click <View> to see the new message, or
Click <Close> to leave the message unseen.
Click <Browse> to select a sound file.
Click <Play> to hear the sound.
Once a sound file is selected, it plays when a new
message comes.
To prevent the computer from standby or hibernate
mode, and maintain the connection between the
E618/612 and the network.
To allow the computer to start the standby or
hibernate mode, and disconnect the E618/612 and
the network.
