Run the pump until the pres- sure is –101 kPa (–76 cmHg). The operation time for the vacuum pump varies with tubing length and the capacity of the pump.

General Precautions on Wiring (1) Before wiring, confirm the rated voltage of the unit as shown on its nameplate, then carry out the wiring closely following the wiring diagram. (2) Provide a power outlet to be used exclusively for each unit, with a power supply disconnect and circuit break- er for overcurrent protection provided in the exclusive line.

For the installation of a grounding device, please observe local electrical codes. Grounding is necessary, especially for units using inverter circuits, in order to release charged electricity and electrical noise caused by high tension.
