1. Security
1.1 Security and liability
Before installing and using this product, read the warning carefully.
This product must be installed by a professional, to whom this warning is addressed.
The installer must also comply with the standards and legislation in effect in the country of
installation and inform his/her clients of the conditions for product use and maintenance.
Any use outside of the realm of application established in this warning is prohibited and would lead
to the exclusion of liability and of the warranty.
Before installation, verify the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment and
accessories.
This equipment may only be used by competent adult persons that have received information or
technical instruction on the proper and safe handling of the equipment.
The symbol representing a thunderbolt with an arrow in an equilateral triangle aims to
warn the user of the presence of non-isolated "high voltage" inside the device, constituting
a likely risk of electric shock.
The symbol representing an exclamation point in an equilateral triangle aims to warn the
user of the existence of important instructions in the documentation supplied with the
product (related to the operation and maintenance of said product).
1.2 Specific security instructions
- Avoid falls and collisions.
- Never attempt to immerse the product in liquid.
- Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the casing. Its surface may be cleaned using a soft,
dry cloth.
- Do not attempt to open the casing.
- Do not use this product outside. Do not place the connection wire outside.
- All use or modification of the equipment not anticipated by Hitachi Air Conditioning Products
Europe, S.A.U. could lead to danger in using it.
- The product may be turned off by unplugging the power plug, which must be accessible while in
use.
- Use only the cables and accessories supplied.
