Replacement procedure
1. Turn off the computer and remove all connected devices and cables.
2. Remove the computer stand cover. See "Computer stand cover" on page 59.
3. Remove the computer stand. See "Computer stand" on page 60.
4. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 61.
5. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 64.
6. Remove the microphone module. See "Microphone module" on page 68.
7. Remove the system board frame. See "System board frame" on page 71.
8. Remove the speakers. See "Speakers" on page 69.
9. Remove the CPU fan. See "CPU fan" on page 76.
10. Remove the optical drive board. See "Optical drive board" on page 69.
11. Remove the power switch board. See "Power switch board" on page 70.
12. Remove the system board. See "System board" on page 78.
13. Remove 13 screws.
14. Remove the middle frame.
15. Install the new middle frame..
16. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of the removal steps mentioned above.
17. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electrical
outlet.
