Remove the system board

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 26
"Remove the battery pack" on page 27
"Remove the solid-state drive" on page 28
"Remove the heat sink" on page 31
"Remove the fans" on page 32
"Remove the EDP cable brackets" on page 33
"Remove the fingerprint cable" on page 34
Step 1. Disengage the fingerprint module from the system board and peel off the Wi-Fi mylar from the
wireless module. Disconnect the Eink EDP cable, OLED EDP cable, keyboard cable, keyboard
backlight cable, touchpad cable, Wi-Fi antennas, speaker cable and audio board cable from the
system board.

Step 2. Remove ten screws and remove the system board.
