Using the Self Timer

Available in [, ], ;, ', , or . mode
The self-timer allows you to record images after
a time-lag of 10 seconds. This is convenient
when you want to record an image of you and
your friends together.

Select "SELF TIMER" in SHOOTING
MODE menu (see page 24).

• The self timer mode icon appears when
the on-screen indicators are turned on.

Press the Shutter button half-
way down to focus on the
subject.

Press the Shutter button fully to
activate the ten-second count-
down to image capture.
• The self timer indicators on the
body and LCD screen blink. Ten
seconds after pressing the Shutter
button, the camera automatically
captures the image.
