Using the External CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive

Playing DVD Movies

To play back movies, you must have a DVD player
application set up under the Windows operating system.
DVD playback software is included with your Toshiba
notebook.

Writing to CD-R/CD-RW discs

This drive lets you write as well as read CD-ROMs.
Observe the precautions in the introduction to ensure the
best performance for writing CDs.

Before writing or rewriting

Please observe the following points when you write or
rewrite the data.
We recommend the following manufacturers of CD-R
and CD-RW media. Media quality can affect write or
rewrite success.
