Installing the battery pack

Inserting and removing the battery pack
To insert the battery pack, use the following procedure:
1
Turn the External CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive over.

Remove the battery cover by pulling it toward the
edge of the drive.
Before inserting the battery, make sure that the
External CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive is
disconnected from the external power supply.
Otherwise the drive may be damaged.
Use only Toshiba battery packs since standard
commercial batteries may cause damage to the
device.
