Measure the specific gravity (must be 1.28 or more)
periodically (every 6 months), and check the battery
conditions.
WARNING
Position the Snowblower on a level surface.
1.
Stop the engine and remove the engine switch key.
2.
Make sure that the battery fluid is within the speci-
fied level (between upper level and lower level)
when observed from the rear of Snowblower.
1. Minimum level mark "LOWER LEVEL"
2. Maximum level mark "UPPER LEVEL"
3.
If the battery fluid is below the minimum level mark,
have a Yamaha dealer add distilled water.

Replacing the fuse

WARNING
• Always use a fuse of the specified rating, and
never use a substitute object in place of the
proper fuse. An improper fuse or a substitute
object can cause damage to the electrical sys-
tem, which could lead to a fire.
• Avoid spraying water around the fuse when
washing the Snowblower. Doing so may cause
electricity to leak or a short circuit to occur.
