5-3. Trouble shooting for circuitry
(1) No display on LCD light when Power switch is turned ON
Check the connection of CN1 (M-1) and CN51 (M-S).
NO
Check Pin No. 1 of CN1 (M-1), +5V ?
Check Power Supply (M-5).
Check the connection of CN2-1 through 2-3 (M-1) and
CN21 through 23 (M-2).
Check the connection of CN24 (M-2) and LCD connector.
NO
Check the Main PCB (M-1).
Check LCD.
(2) Key-in is impossible from the operation panel
Check the same as described (1).

Check the connection of CN2-2 and 2-3 (M-2)
Check the Main PCB (M-1).

Check the operation panel PCB (M-2).
(3) LCD indicates "CHECK PAPER ROLL" ('""PAPIER PRUEFEN")
Is recording paper set properly?
YES
Is the Receiving cover closed securely?
YES
Check the connection of CN8 (M-1).
YES
Is /PAP (CN8-pin No. 8) less than 0.8V ?
Check the Receiving cover SW.
YES
Check the M-1 PCB.
Check the sensor for the recording
paper.
