5. REMOTE CONTROL UNIT BUTTON OPERATIONS
The remote control unit has a backlit LCD panel, making the display easy to read.
The remote control unit allows all the necessary operations during a presentation to be carried
out from a position away from the QA-1150 (main unit).
PRINCIPAL REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
@ Display modes: normal, enlarged and clear
Display adjustments: H-POS, V-POS, phase, frequency and contrast
Color palette selection: 512 or 185,000 colors
Computer or video selection
Reset functions: reset, and mode reset
(COMP) 720-dot mode image compression
PC control: PC-SET (setting the serial communications parameters) and PC-CTL
(computer program control)
Display mode selection
The remote control unit allows the operator to switch the QA-1150 to any of three display
modes: normal, enlarged, and clear.
1) Normal mode
In this mode the image is displayed at normal size.
After pressing the RESET button, the unit is in normal mode.
When this mode is selected, it is indicated on the remote control unit LCD as follows.

2) Enlarge mode
In this mode the center of the image is shown enlarged to double its size. Pressing the
ENLARGE button while in normal mode switches to enlarged mode. This is indicated on
the remote control unit LCD as follows.
